Joseph Keckler is a widely acclaimed singer, writer, songwriter, and artist, with a rich, versatile three-plus octave voice and sharp wit. His compelling performances combine humor, autobiography, and classical themes from a unique perspective.
The New York Times calls Keckler “an operatic singer whose range shatters the conventional boundaries of classical singing.” Keckler’s style, voice and approach may remind listeners of Rufus Wainwright and Antony Hegarty aka Anohni.
The Village Voice named Keckler “Best Downtown Performance Artist” and the New York Times declared him a “major vocal talent.”
Dane Terry is a storymaker, performer and composer. Terry is the 2016 recipient of the Ethyl Eichelberger Award from PS122 where his new piece Jupiter's Lifeless Moons premiered in January 2018 as part of their COIL festival. He was also a part of that organization’s RAMP residency in spring 2016. After premiering in New York at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club in April 2015, his theatrical song-cycle Bird in the House went on to be presented at The Public Theater as part of the Under The Radar Festival’s INCOMING! series. Dane has also performed at Lincoln Center's Out-Of-Doors Fest, A.R.T.'s Oberon in Cambridge MA, Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati OH, The Wexner Center in Columbus OH and the Afterglow Festival in Provincetown MA. Dane is currently the Artist In Residence at The Freehand Hotel in association with Bard College.
Coney Island native Carol Lipnik is spellbinding, darkly-humorous singer and songwriter with a stunningly versatile 4-octave range. Dubbed an "ethereal vocal phenomenon" by The New York Times, Lipnik’s acclaimed residency at East Village boîte Pangea recently celebrated its 3-year anniversary. The show was a Time Out New York Critic’s Pick and received the 2015 BroadwayWorld New York Cabaret Award for Best Alternative Cabaret Show. Carol has also performed at such venues as Joe’s Pub, The Abrons Arts Center, PS 122, Ancram Opera House, the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, and The Spiegelltent at Bard. The inimitable Coney Island native has released six CDs on her Mermaid Alley Music label; the latest, “Almost Back To Normal” (2015), was funded by a grant from the Peter S. Reed Foundation. She has collaborated with and composed music for performance artist John Kelly's latest work “The Escape Artist” and these songs will also be included on his soon to be released CD recording “Beauty Kills Me”. She was recently an artist in residence at the Yaddo Art Colony in Saratoga Springs, NY.
