Stephen Bluhm
Stephen Bluhm presents a night of dancey, melodic and lyric-driven synth pop celebrating his first album.

People usually hear David Byrne or Morrissey in his unique style, although he draws inspiration from the past century of pop music, as well as musical theater. The results can sound like power pop, disco, or 80s synth pop, all united by melodic and lyrical crooning. Some favorite artists: Stephen Sondheim, Burt Bacharach, The Beach Boys, OMD, Erasure, ABBA. A wild mix.

An engaging performer who loves dancing with the audience, he’s been writing and performing for over 10 years, and has graced the stage of Helsinki a great many times, as well as hosted the Open Mic when Helsinki Hudson first opened.

In addition to the album, he’s working on a slew of new, never-heard-before dance songs for the night.
